Vhembe TVET College Admission Requirements

Vhembe TVET College has published the official requirements for students who wish to apply for admission into the institution.

These guidelines apply to all applicants across NC(V), Report 191, Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Master’s programmes.

NC(V) Programme Requirements

To qualify for admission into the National Certificate (Vocational) programme, applicants must meet one of the following:

  • A Grade 9 pass or equivalent qualification.
  • An NQF Level 1 certificate.
  • Completion of an approved bridging programme designed to give access to NQF Level 2.
  • A successful Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment.

Additional notes:

  • Students applying for NCV Level 2 Electrical Construction may need to pass a colour competency test before securing employment.
  • Applicants must also submit two certified copies of their parents’ ID.

Report 191 Programme Requirements

For the Report 191 (NATED) programmes, applicants are expected to have:

  • N4 qualification (Senior Certificate or National Certificate N3), or
  • A Grade 12 certificate or its equivalent.
  • Some applicants may be required to write an admission test.
