Eligibility
- Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and international students.
- Must be nominated by a Canadian institution that has a Vanier CGS quota.
- Must be pursuing a doctoral degree (PhD, combined MA/PhD, MD/PhD, etc.).
- Must have achieved first-class standing in their last two years of study.
- Should not have completed more than 20 months of doctoral studies by May 1 of the year of application.
