What If I have already applied for following year but I want to start during second semester of the current year
If you’ve already applied to the University of Johannesburg (UJ) for admission in the following academic year but now wish to start in the second semester of the current year, here’s what you need to know and do:
1. Check if Second Semester Intake is Available
UJ only accepts second-semester applications for selected programmes, typically in faculties like Engineering, Health Sciences, or certain diplomas and certificates. Not all programmes offer mid-year entry.
2. Contact the Admissions Office ASAP
— You need to reach out to UJ’s Admissions or Student Enrolment Centre directly. Ask if:
— Your intended programme is open for second-semester admission.
— Your current application can be adjusted or brought forward.
— You need to submit a new application or just amend the existing one.
