TUT Registration Dates 2026
The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has stated that they will be open and accepting online applications to the 2026/2027 academic year from;
Please note that once off registrations were implemented with effect from January, which implies that you should register once at the beginning of the year for both the 1st and 2nd semesters.
No late registrations will be accommodated.
Distance Learning Education
The commencement date for the 2026 registrations is 12 April 2026 and the closing date is 2 May 2026.
If you fail one or more pre-requisite subjects in the 1st semester the 2nd semester follow up subjects relevant to the pre-requisite subjects you failed will be cancelled by tut distance education.
Re-Admissions
Students who were inactive or not registered prior and up to 2020, have to apply for re-admission for 2026 and will only be allowed to register for 2026 after and if their re-admission applications were approved by the Academic Department.
The closing date for submission of Re-admission applications for 2026 is 30 November 2026.
