How to Apply to STADIO for 2026
STADIO applications are now open for 2026. Follow these steps to apply.
Step 1: Apply Online
There is no downloadable application form for nursing; the application must be done online.
- Visit the official STADIO application page: https://stadio.ac.za/apply-now
- Select “Contact Learning” (because nursing is not available for distance learning).
- Fill in your details, upload your ID, academic results, and any required documents.
- Make sure you select the Higher Certificate in Nursing (1 year) or the equivalent programme.
Step 2: Pay the Application or Registration Fee
For most first-trimester applications, there’s no application fee, but you may need to pay a registration deposit to secure your space.
If you’re applying for second-trimester intake or international status, there may be a small fee (around R150 – R300).
Step 3: Submit Before the Deadline
Apply as early as possible to secure your spot and get 2025 rates for the 2026 academic year.
Early applicants who register in 2025 pay the 2025 tuition fee, even for 2026 studies!
HOW MUCH ARE THE TUITION FEES?
The official 2026 nursing fees are not out yet, but they will be published by September 2025.
- 2025 Estimated Fees for the 1-Year Nursing Course: Around R25,000 (this includes tuition, but excludes accommodation and textbooks).
- Deposit Options: STADIO usually allows for deposits and monthly payments.
- Fee Freezing Benefit: If you register early (2025), you will keep the 2025 fee structure for your 2026 studies.
A STADIO Facebook group member shared that their 1-year nursing costs came to approximately R25,000, all-inclusive.
Required Documents for STADIO Nursing Application (2026)
All documents must be clear, certified, and in PDF/JPEG format when uploading.
- Certified Copy of Your ID or Passport(Certification must not be older than 3 months at the time of application)
- Upload a certified copy of your South African ID – South African citizens
- Upload a certified copy of your valid passport – International applicants
- Certified Copy of Your Matric Certificate (NSC) or Equivalent
- Must include your Grade 12 results (Senior Certificate or NSC).
- If you’re still in matric (Class of 2025), upload your latest Grade 12 report or statement of results.
- Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority).
- Proof of Address
- A recent utility bill or a certified letter confirming your current place of residence.
- Used to verify campus eligibility or student accommodation support.
- Proof of Payment (If Applicable)
- If your programme requires a registration deposit or application fee, you’ll need to upload the proof (e.g., bank deposit slip or EFT confirmation).
- Usually not required for first-trimester local applicants, but check your course details carefully.
- Study Visa (International Students Only)
